Wll I just came home from work and the American Bulldog Spirit was alive and well in my basement.

Maybellene got out of her kennel and chewed down on dry kibble at her leisure. Whe she got bored form that it appears as though she has taken a liking to the plastic dog food scoop as it is chewed beyond repair.

I love bulldogs....but not so much right now.

I have been busy this week getting ready for my new suprise.

It has been several months of planning and negotiation.

I am positive that it will be the rightmove and the that it will put me where i want to be witha push of several years just in one quick purchase.

I trust the owner and like him very much as a freind. It is rare that you know right away when you meet someone that they have good intentions.

Anyway this blog is supposed to be about the american bulldogs not humans so i will leave it there.

Your fences need to be horse high, pig tight and bull strong.
Life ain't about how fast you run, or how high you climb, but how well you bounce.

Keep skunks and bankers and lawyers at a distance.

Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.

A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor.

Words that soak into your ears are whispered...not yelled.

Meanness don't jest happen overnight.

Forgive your enemies. It messes up their heads.

Do not corner something that you know is meaner than you.

It don't take a very big person to carry a grudge.

You cannot unsay a cruel word.

Every path has a few puddles.

When you wallow with pigs, expect to get dirty.

The best sermons are lived, not preached.

Most of the stuff people worry about ain't never gonna happen anyway

Don't judge folks by their relatives.

Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.

Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you'll enjoy it a second time.

Don't interfere with somethin' that ain't botherin' you none.

Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

The easiest way to eat crow is while it's still warm, 'cause the colder it gets, the harder it is to swaller.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin'.

It don't take a genius to spot a goat in a flock of sheep.

Sometimes you get, and sometimes you get got.

The biggest troublemaker you'll probably ever have to deal with watches you shave his face in the mirror every mornin'.

If you get to thinkin' you're a person of some influence, try orderin' somebody else's dog around.

Always drink upstream from the herd.

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lotta that comes from bad judgment.

Lettin' the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin' it in.

Another great day with the Bulldogs.

I had an agent open house so i had to remove all the dogs to allow full access without threating barking..lol.

All the dogs piled into my van and we cruised....we visted work....had some honey dip donuts from Tim Hortons.....went for a walk in the park....it was actually fun.

The american Bulldog has the ability to move people out of the way when yoru walking because they look like they would bite but the truth be known they just want a pat on the head...not your leg.

I had to delete a few messages that were posted here that were very negative towards the breed.

It appears as though someone with little knowledge....and a big chip on their shoulder thinks this breed is violent.

The truth be told my dogs are as gentle as one could wish for. I fee i am a very lucky man to have the chance to own such well balanced animals.

gave the American Bulldog hell hounds a bath Today...

i think i got a bigger kick out of this than the dogs did.

Simon was not intersted in getting in the tub at all but after i threw in a chew toy he was ready to go.

I sometimes forget how big he is until i actually have to put my hands on him ...lol....he does not knwo how big he is either...thank GOD or i would have been the one wet.
